- LiteWave Technologies, a spinout of CU Boulder and a subsidiary of Orion Space Solutions, has been acquired by Arcfield, a leading government technology and mission support provider.
- Yahoo! Finance—Standard BioTools announced that it has completed its merger with SomaLogic, a CU Boulder spinout, creating a leading provider of differentiated multi-omics tools for research. The combined company is poised to realize significant benefits as a multi-omic technology leader, targeting large, high-growth markets with a diverse portfolio of life sciences tools that power industry-leading throughput and data quality.
- BizWest—VitriVax, a CU Boulder spinout developing vaccine technology, has received a $5 million, two-year grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The grant will help the company further develop its proprietary single shot, thermostabilization vaccine technology and begin the development of pilot-scale manufacturing capacity, the company said in a press statement.
- Digital Journal—Orbital Micro Systems (OMS), a CU Boulder spinout and leader in the collection, aggregation and dissemination of commercial weather and climate data together with its partner Black Swift Technologies, has been selected for a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II contract to conduct expedited assessments of soil integrity for landing strips in unconventional locations.
