MS-DS Online Mentors
As you navigate your journey through the Data Science graduate program, meeting with a mentor can be a valuable way to gain insights into degree planning and build a stronger connection within our academic community!ÌýWhether you're looking for guidance on course choices, career direction, or simply want to connect with someone who understands the path you're on, our mentors are here to help.
MS-DS Mentors act as student ambassadors for the program and welcome new MS-DS students to CU-Boulder.ÌýThe role of a peer mentor is to provide support, encouragement, and information. Peer mentors serve asÌýgraduate student life experts and they may have suggestions about work-life balance, adjusting to life as aÌýgraduate student, advisor/advisee relationships, etc.ÌýWe hope that out of this mentorship program, both new and seasoned students can make lifetime connections, learn more about the program,Ìýand gain a sense of community.
You can reach mentors via Slack, as well as text message, LinkedIn, and email, depending on each mentors preferred communication style.
