Leadership Starts Here: Volunteer, Connect, Make a Difference
Join the Center for Leadership on September 12 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM for a meaningful day of service through the Adopt-a-Spot program! This is your chance to earn service hours, connect with fellow Buffs, and explore what leadership looks like in action.
We’re teaming up with the City of Boulder’s Adopt-a-Spot initiative to support Public Works staff in maintaining and beautifying public spaces. Volunteers will help with:
- Removing trash, leaves, and debris
- Weeding and pruning ornamental grasses (seasonal)
- Mulching landscaped areas (mulch provided by the city)
- Trimming edges and clearing pedestrian paths
- Reporting hazards or irrigation issues to city staff
Whether you’re passionate about sustainability, community engagement, or just want to make a difference, this is a great way to get involved.
Why Join?
- Earn service hours toward your academic or leadership requirements
- Meet students, staff, and community members who are passionate about leadership and service
- Learn more about leadership opportunities at CU Boulder
- Make a visible impact on the Boulder community
All CU Boulder students, staff, and community members are welcome! Whether you’re new to leadership or already involved, this is a great way to connect and contribute.
